csgo astana dragonsAnd here come the dragons...

After yesterday's shocking news, finally we got the name of the new Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team called Kazakhstan Astana Dragons. Team is created with former players of Russia Virtus.pro and Ukraine NaVi. The line-up on the paper looks extremely strong, but what will we see in the reality?

The sponsor of the team is Cybersport Federation of Kazakhstan. Due to fact that 3 of 5 players are from Ukraine, the gaming house will be located there as well.

In-game leader of Astana Dragons Ukraine Kirill 'ANGE1' Karasev commented:
"Hard time, hard decision. We team-up with all these guys with one purpose only - to be the best, without doubts. I believe that our new organization want to achieve the same."

Head of organization Kazakhstan Ilyas Sarsenbayaev commented:
"We have made a great team and I'm sure that we will start to win very soon. We have a target to become one of the biggest esports organization in the world and we have a lot of work to do. I hope that viewers will have a lot of pleasure by watching the game of our five."

The remain former players of Virtus.pro are currently homeless. We are talking about Russia Fox, Ukraine Kucher and Slovakia GuardiaN, and don't forget about ex-Poland ESC players. Such big number of free agents could be the result of new teams or some major changes in the lineups of existing teams.

Interesting to know what will happen with NaVi's CS GO squad now. Remind you that currently there are 3 players only: Ukraine Zeus, Ukraine Ceh9 and Ukraine Starix. Management of the NaVi informed that they will not make any statements before Monday. Maybe we will know about new stand-ins for Ukrainians or about closing entire CS GO division...

Line-up of  Astana Dragons:

Ukraine Kirill 'ANGE1' Karasev
Ukraine Ioann 'Edward' Sukhariev
Ukraine Yegor 'markeloff' Markelov
Kazakhstan Dauren 'AdreN' Kystaubayev
Russia Mikhail "Dosia" Stolyarov
