Intel Extreme Masters Season 9 - Taipei: Players, Groups and Prizes

The final details of the next stop in  IEM Season 9 are soon to be revealed. The event that will take place in  Taipei will kick off at the end of this month.

The total number of players is set at the 28 mark with a total of $25.000 in cash prizes.

Out of the total 28 players, 12 are already seeded into the second stage of the event, namely:  Sen,  Polt,  herO,  Classic,  Harstem,  Rain,  San,  forGG,  Life,  Maru,  Hydra,  PartinG, these players will wait the first day of the event to see whom will be the fourth player in their groups.

The rest of the players:  jjakji,  Impact,  Sacsri,  Leenock,  TRUE,  SoulKey,  Has,  HerO,  HyuN,  Check,  Revival,  DongRaeGu,  Patience,  Ian,  Daisy and  Snute will have to duke it out in the Dual Tournament for the four slots that will allow acces into the second stage of the event.

The Dual Tournament will run as two Double Elimination Bracket that will be played on 28'th of January 2015
