The Ukrainian/Russian based Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team, Ukraine Vega Squadron is up for sale.

The managers of the team have decided to set the entire roster on innactive status and transfer listed.

The decision comes as the team as of late has failed to impress and even have any impact on the local scene. All that was stated is the fact that the managers behind the Russian based organization have decided to take a brake from the Counter-Strike franchise for the time being.

The official statement was made on the webpage of the team, there managers wrote:

"Vega Squadron decided to take a pause in Counter-Strike Global Offensive for the time being.

The organization is opened for players transfer offers:

Vega Squadron CS:GO roster:

Igor «crush» Shevchenko
Dmytro «jR» Chervak
Denis «seized» Kostin
Alexander «scoobyxie» Marynych
Dmitriy «Dima» Bandurka

Artem «Fierce» Ivanov (coach)
Alexander «Lk» Lemeshev (manager)
"

At the same time some of the players from the roster have tweeted messages to the public, Ukraine Igor 'crush' Shevchenko on twitter wrote:

" As of today I'm no longer a part of @VegaSquadron and am looking for new opportunities.

Almost 3 years on duty, a ton of great moments to remember. Time to move on! You can reach me out via my email lemeshev.alex@gmail.com RT's are appreciated! <3. "

The former Russian Federation Natus Vincere player, Russian Federation Denis 'seized' Kostin wrote:

" Hopefully fix my ears very soon and ready for new opportunities, preferably as IGL, decided to back to that role. "

These statements from the player may suggest that the team will split up and all players will go their separate ways.

At the time of the release, the CS:GO roster of Ukraine Vega Squadron was:

  • Russian Federation Denis 'seized' Kostin
  • Russian Federation Dimitry 'Dima' Bandurka
  • Ukraine Alexander 'scoobyxie' Marynych
  • Ukraine Dmitriy 'jR' Chervak (C)
  • Ukraine Igor 'crush' Shevchenko
  • Russian Federation Artem 'Fierce' Ivanov (coach)
  • Russian Federation Viktor 'Vidoq' Manaenkov (coach)
  • Russian Federation Alexander 'Lk-' Lemeshev (Manager)

It remains to see what will the players do and when even if the Vega Squadron as an organization will come back to CS:GO in the future.

The former Manager of the CS:GO division, Russian Federation Alexander 'Lk-' Lemeshevwrote:

"As of today I'm no longer a part of @VegaSquadron and am looking for new opportunities.

Almost 3 years on duty, a ton of great moments to remember.

Time to move on!
