The Danish based Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team, Denmark OpTic Gaming has announced changes within their ranks.

The team has released Denmark Ismail 'refrezh' Ali from his active duties now taking place on the bench while they have called former United States Cloud9 player, Denmark Rene 'cajunB' Borg.

The announcement was made by the team In Game Leader and Captain, Denmark Mathias 'MSL' Lauridsen within a post over at his twitter page, where MSL wrote:

"After 4 months with ups and downs, we have decided to make a roster change. It was clear to me that we needed experience and stability to make us a more consistent team.

We will be swapping refrezh with cajunb. I want to say thanks to refrezh for our time together, I think you have a lot of potential and you in the future will achieve great success. We couldn't fit 2 players with the same roles and this was the natural change. I wish you good luck and I'm quite sure you'll find a great home very fast!

We're still searching for an organization to represent. We have received some offers but want to make it clear we're not interested in moving to the US. We're now only 3 players that needs to be bought out.

We have ESL One New York, DreamHack Masters Malmø, ESL Pro League and ECS coming up in the next months. Our goal is to get back into top10 within 4 months. So, If it sounds interesting for you as an organization, you can contact our coach on: casdueh@gmail.com."

The three players that need to be bought out of their Denmark OpTic Gaming contracts are Denmark Nikolaj 'Niko' Kristensen, Denmark Mathias 'MSL' Lauridsen and Denmark Kristian 'k0nfig' Wienecke.

The newly added player, Denmark cajunB has not signed a contract with United States OpTic Gaming while their fifth player, whom played with the toster for the past weeks, Denmark Rene 'TeSeS' Madsen was never announced as a permanent player yet.

remind you that in the past Denmark TeSeS played for Denmark GoldenGite, it remains to see the future of both United States OpTic Gaming as an organization in CS:GO and the team that used to represent them, a line-up that for now looks as follows:

  • Denmark Nikolaj 'Niko' Kristensen
  • Denmark Mathias 'MSL' Lauridsen (C)
  • Denmark Kristian 'k0nfig' Wienecke
  • Denmark Rene 'cajunB' Borg
  • Denmark Rene 'TeSeS' Madsen
  • Denmark Ismail 'refrezh' Ali (innactive)
  • Denmark Casper 'ruggah' Due (coach)

While Denmark GoldenGite is for the time being without a CS:GO roster.
