The future of the French AWP-er in the Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team of G2.eSports is uncertain for the time being.
According to a report from VPEsports.com the only player that did not sign a new contract that will run up to 2020 with the Spanish organization is Kenny 'kennyS' Schrub.
It seems that in exchange to the long term deal, the managers behind the team want to lower the salary, this might be the reason the AWP-er is in doubt.
The two parties have to come to mutual ground before the start of February 2019 otherwise the player is allowed to leave as a free agent due to his contract expiring at that time.
This will be a big asset on the market as the release would happen just before the IEM Katowice Major 2019 making him a good target to get on the team, at the same time dealing a massive blow to the roster of G2.eSports.
Remind you that for the time being, G2.eSports CS:GO is:
- Alexandre 'bodyy' Pianaro
- Kenny 'kennyS' Schrub
- Edouard 'ShmitZz' Dubourdeaux
- Richard 'shox' Papillon
- Kevin 'Ex6TenZ' Droolans (stand-in)
- Dan 'apEX' Madesclaire (benched)
- Nathan 'NBK' Schmitt (benched)
- Damien 'maLeK' Marcel (coach)
- Jerome 'NiaK' Sudries (Manager)
