fnatic set to replace Golden

A report from flickshot.fr states that the recent winners of Poland Intel Extreme Masters Season XII - World Championship, the Swedish Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team of Sweden fnatic is set to sign a new player to replace their current In Game Leader, Sweden Maikil 'Golden' Selim.

The decision seems kind of odd if we take in consideration the fact that since his promotion from the Academy team, Sweden Golden has managed to make the players have some of the best results in the last two years.

If the news turns out to be true then Sweden Golden's future is uncertain, as for the player that is apparently set to replace him, he is former In Game Leader of Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas whom currently is benched in the above mentioned team, Sweden Richard 'Xizt' Landstrom.

Since the report was made, the two organization have not released official statements regarding this.

If this turns out to be true we have the following rosters for the two Swedish teams:

For Sweden Ninjas in Pyjamas:

  • Sweden Patrik 'f0rest' Lindberg
  • Sweden Christopher 'GeT_RiGhT' Alesund
  • Sweden William 'draken' Sundin
  • Sweden Fredrik 'REZ' Sterner
  • Sweden Denis 'dennis' Edman (C)
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina Faruk 'Pita' Pita (coach)

For Sweden fnatic:

  • Sweden Freddy 'KRiMZ' Johansson
  • Sweden Robin 'flusha' Ronnquist
  • Sweden Jesper 'JW' Wecksell
  • Sweden Jonas 'Lekr0' Olofsson
  • Sweden Richard 'Xizt' Landstrom
  • Sweden Jimmy 'Jumpy' Berndtsson (coach)
