The German based Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team, EURONICS Gaming has lost one team member.
The German player, Markus 'maRky' Reitenbach via a tweetlonger announced that he will part ways with the team.
The player, maRky stated:
"From now on I am no longer part of the EURONICS Gaming Team and we go our separate ways. The team has decided not to continue playing in the constellation. Reasons for this include my achievements, which were not sufficient for the team. For me, the decision was very surprising, but I still have to accept it.
We parted on good terms and are still good friends. I thank the organization and the players for a short but nice time.
For me it's time to wait for the season and then look for new options.
"
It seems that the player will have his place taken over by a rather unknown player, whom acted as a back-up for the team in the past, Josef 'faveN' Baumann, the last mentioned will play with the team untill the end of the end of the year.
As for the departured player, the future of maRky is unclear for the time being.
With this in mind, EURONICS Gaming now has:
- Christian 'Crisby' Schmitt (C)
- Oliver 'kzy' Maximilian Heck
- Marko 'kressy' Dordevic
- Thilo 'syken' Phan
- Josef 'faveN' Baumann (stand-in)
- Daniel 'Daniel' Paulus (manager)
