The Swedish based Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team, fnatic has announced the addition of the benched player from Sweden Red Reserve Sweden Simon 'twist' Eliasson.

He will take the place of Sweden William 'draken' Sundin whom will be benched marking most likely the end of his career.

The announcement was made on the official website of the team, on the Sweden fnatic website it is written:

"After another Major period, we now look towards the long-term goal of IEM: Katowice in March 2018.

Going into the online period of our season, we see the return of Simon 'twist' Eliasson whilst William 'draken' Sundin goes into an inactive position. Twist returns twenty months after his initial time in the Black and Orange.

The 23-year old played for Fnatic in the competitive cycle leading into ELEAGUE Major: Atlanta 2017, where we eventually finished with a top 4 finish. The Swede has been transferred from Red Reserve after spending the past few months with the team.

Twist greatly thanks all those in his previous organisations and teammates who helped him along his storied career path, and have “always believed in [him] even when [his] choices have created question marks."

The quality that brought him to Fnatic initially has always been evident and we are thrilled to welcome him back into the starting roster."

On the same website, Sweden twist wrote:

"I'm thrilled to be back at Fnatic, an organisation I have always looked up to since I started following the professional scene. I'm happy to team up with some of the best Swedish players in the scene and I'm confident we are going to do great things. I will not take this chance for granted. Thank you to those who have always believed in me. "
