The announcement was made by the player via a post over at his official socialization page.

The guys behind the mainly Counter-Strike:Global Offensive tournaments, Germany Electronic Sports League announced that they have decided to allow former match fixing players to play their leagues.

The main target of this decision are the former United States iBUYPOWER members that were banned by VALVe, and all the other CS:GO related organizations two years ago.

The German scene has seen a change, the Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team known as Germany DIVIZION has aquired the services of the back-up player from Germany Alternate aTTaX.

The player in question is Germany Markus 'maRky' Reitenbach whom was a back-up player for Alternate ever since he joined back in mid May.
