B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape release two

The Singaporean Counter-Strike:Global Offensive team, Singapore B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape has announced changes.

The managers released two players in the name of the innactive players, Singapore Benedict 'benkai' Tan and Kazakhstan Alikhan 'w1nt3r' Kopzhanov are the two players to leave the Singaporean roster of Singapore B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape.


The announcement was made on the facebook page of the team where the managers wrote:

"Today we announce the departure of Benedict “Benkai" Tan and Alikhan “w1nt3r" Kopzhanov from BOOT.dS Letou.

Benedict “Benkai" Tan was, together with Anthony "ImpressioN" Lim and Nevin “splashske" Aw-Yeong, one of the original members who joined BOOT.dS Letou back in January of 2017. During his time with BOOT.dS Letou, Benkai established himself as one of the most lethal riflers in Asia, competing in numerous international tournaments in countries like China, Australia, Germany, Sweden, and the UK.

Benedict is leaving the team to serve Singapore's mandatory National Service (NS). Alikhan “w1nt3r" Kopzhanov joined the team in April and during his tenure in BOOT.dS Letou a series of good results within Asia resulted in opportunities to travel to Sydney (for IEM Sydney and ESL Pro League Season 7 APAC) and Cologne (for ESL One). "


At the same time, the team Captain, Singapore Anthony 'ImpressioN' Lim wrote:

"I've known Benedict for the longest time, throughout half my amateur and entirety of my professional career, I've played with him and always thought the best of him as a player and a person.

I am honored to have been teammates with him since early 2016, we've been together since when I was still serving my National Service till today whereas he has embarked on his, I wish nothing but the best for him, having been through the very worst losses and best of wins with him, I know that a person of his caliber, of his capabilities, he will always shine and succeed in his endeavors.

I look forward to the day that you are operationally ready because I am sure once you have regained your freedom that you will definitely be right back on the world stage."


As for the two departured players, their future for the time being is unclear, while Singapore B.O.O.T-dream[S]cape still have the following CS:GO team:

  • Singapore Kumaresan 'Tommy' Ramani
  • Singapore Nevin 'splashke' Aw
  • Singapore Benjamin 'moxie' Kou (stand-in)
  • Singapore Leslie 'Bobosaur' Soen (stand-in)
  • France Alexandre 'alecks' Salle (coach)
